About the Role | Mo te Turanga
Reporting to the Head of Quality and Food Safety, you will develop and maintain optimum food safety practices within Countdown Supermarkets and the wider Woolworths New Zealand organisation. As a Food Safety Partner, you will provide advice and guidance to our team through training and coaching. Working in a multi-site capacity, you will visit stores, and support initiatives to maintain and enhance our food control plan.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
Ensuring food safety practices and processes are well understood and effectively implementedEnsuring food safety risks are appropriately and effectively managedMaking sure store teams have sufficient support through tools, guidance and trainingManaging effective relationships with regulatorsManaging customer complaints, recalls and withdrawals, promptly and effectively.Making sure business stakeholders are fully informed on issues and developments pertaining to Food SafetyAbout You | Mou
What we are looking for:
Passion for food safety and delivering the best to our customers!Recognised audit qualifications preferredSkilled trainer and facilitatorExpertise in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Google Suites is preferredIdeally you will have experience in the monitoring of food safety practices, are tertiary qualified in a food related discipline, or have equivalent experience within the industry.
