We think about the customer and make doing business with McCain easy.Champion/coach/improve H&S culture and ensuring compliance within the Production DepartmentKey member of the Quality team, responsible for implementation and sustainment of all continuous improvement activitiesA 'hands on' approach to delivering Quality training to staff as requiredTo ensure all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the plant are compliant with Local body, Legislative and Corporate requirementsHACCP, GMP and Quality System programmes auditing team memberTo prevent pollution and protect the environment within the site boundariesLead and audit various site programs including: foreign material, equipment validation and calibration, pest management, environmental monitoringParticipate in the site internal audit programAccountabilities.Knowledge:Background in food processing/manufacturingPrevious Quality Technologist experience in an FMCG environmentKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP), Safety, HACCP and Quality SystemsPrevious experience in a continuous manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in the implementation, operation, and maintenance of a Quality system (preferred ISO and HACCP)Skills:People and communication skills (across multiple departments and all levels of personnel)The ability to identify potential problems and provide solutions within their scope of responsibilityA strong determination to succeed, be highly motivated and have a willingness to learn and ultimately progressThe McCain experience.We are McCain: this statement is about our power collectively and our importance individually—your impact is a significant part of the business.
