About the team .
Reporting to the Quality and Environmental Manager, this role will be responsible and accountable for food safety and quality systems including foreign material, equipment control, pest control along with supporting the quality and environmental management systems.

Champion/coach/improve H&S culture and ensuring compliance within the Production Department Conduct Behaviour Observation Surveys as directed Key member of the Quality team, responsible for implementation and sustainment of all continuous improvement activities A 'hands on' approach to delivering Quality training to staff as required To ensure all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the plant are compliant with Local body, Legislative and Corporate requirements HACCP, GMP and Quality System programmes auditing team member To prevent pollution and protect the environment within the site boundaries Lead and audit various site programs including: foreign material, equipment validation and calibration, pest management, environmental monitoring Participate in the site internal audit program Leadership Principles .

Accountabilities .
Knowledge: Background in food processing/manufacturing Previous Quality Technologist experience in an FMCG environment Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP), Safety, HACCP and Quality Systems Previous experience in a continuous manufacturing environment Previous experience in the implementation, operation, and maintenance of a Quality system (preferred ISO and HACCP) Skills: People and communication skills (across multiple departments and all levels of personnel) The ability to identify potential problems and provide solutions within their scope of responsibility A strong determination to succeed, be highly motivated and have a willingness to learn and ultimately progress The McCain experience .
