Food & Beverage Supervisor

Job DescriptionOur Ambassador will :Be accountable on a shift basis for the operations of the outlet through effective people management. This role is hands on', working as part of a team to provide efficient 5 star service.In charge of functions and events.Demonstrate ownership' of the outlet through commitment to the following areas of responsibility.Perform basic day-to-day food and beverage service.Supervision support and ongoing training to employees to ensure standards and procedures are observed to provide a consistent, high level of service for all customer contact.Supervision of the bar / restaurant / café / function areas and activities.Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking ordersProvide best quality of food and beverage service to customers, maximising every opportunity to increase sales per person.Liaise with kitchen staff in relation to product' for the outlet, ensuring that quality and quantities are maintained to required standards.Observing liquor and other laws and regulations.Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation as prescribed by council / legislative regulations, in accordance with the hotel's Food Safety Plan.Liaise with Restaurant Reservations as to upcoming bookings / time frames and maximum number of people at one period.QualificationsAt least 1-2 year experience in bar at a luxury 5 star hotel in a customer service facing role is a bonusLooking for a high quality candidate with a strong leadership skillsPrevious experience in Fine dining breakfast and dinner service is a bonusPrevious experience in luxury banqueting service is a bonusPrevious experience in Barista and Café style service is a bonusKnowledge on French cuisine gastronomy and wine beveragesUse of PMS - Infrays is a bonusStrong presentation and organisation skillsAbility to work in the fast paced environment and be proactivePrevious hotel or administration experiencePositive bubbly personalityTertiary Qualification in Hospitality and TourismAdditional InformationLearn your Way - Access to our Accor Academy so you can Earn while you Learn!Work Your Way - Flexibility to ensure a work life balance!Benefits Your Way - Incredible Accor Heartist Benefits - discounted Food & Beverage + Accommodation WorldwideComplimentary meals on shiftAccor's Parental Leave SchemeAccess to our Employee Assistance Program#J-18808-Ljbffr
