As one of NZ's original tourist destinations, we are looking for a passionate and driven individual to take on the role of Food & Beverage Manager.
Role Overview: As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department at the Waitomo Glowworm Caves.
Your goal will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality food and beverages, along with exceptional customer service.
This role requires enthusiasm, drive, self-motivation, and proven hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, train, and mentor the Food & Beverage team.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality food and beverages, exceptional customer service, business growth, and profitability.
Manage rosters, daily briefings, inductions, recruitment, and performance reviews.
Write and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain accurate menus and pricing.
Handle ordering and stock takes according to company policies and procedures.
Key Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospitality management role.
A current General Manager's Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
Demonstrable customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to work weekends and varied hours.
