Crowne Plaza Christchurch, an IHG hotel, is an iconic location in the heart of Christchurch city. Our Food and Beverage outlets include Market Place Restaurant, 1851 Social Bar & Champagne lounge, high tea, banqueting and in room dining. We have a strong passion for developing great people and are looking for a Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our team.
Your day to day
If you're passionate about providing great service to guests, and leading your team to thrive in their roles, this could be a great opportunity for you to grow your hospitality career. Key responsibilities include:
Supervise daily food and beverage operations on shift.
Provide quality service and consistent standards whilst delivering a memorable guest experience.
Participate in training and development of team members.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing requirements.
What we need from you
Previous experience within a hotel or restaurant environment.
Experience leading a team including coaching, training, and giving feedback to your team.
A warm and welcoming personality to be able to provide the best possible experience for our guests.
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage.
Ability to work varying shifts including night, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferably hold a Managers Certificate or LCQ Certificate.
