If your career bucket list includes working in the stunning surroundings of a national park and gaining experience across a range of outlets, we are keen to hear from you.At the Hermitage Hotel, we offer our overnight guests and day trip visitors a range of food and beverage outlets through the summer months.
Regardless of which outlet you are based in for the day, you and the team will be the face of our dining experience, ensuring our guests enjoy everything we have to offer.
Working alongside your colleagues in the F&B and Kitchen team, you will ensure the delivery of cohesive service throughout the day.What you will be doingTraining and supporting staff on restaurant procedures and service standardsAssisting Restaurant Managers in ensuring staff are allocated daily duties and ensuring all tasks are completed to hotel standardsMeeting and greeting our guestsSharing your knowledge of our food and beveragesProviding efficient and effective table management and resettingMaintaining high standards of presentation for our food and beverage outletsSupporting guests to get the most from their stay with usWhat you will bring to the roleF&B experience in a similar position using Point-of-Sale systems, maintaining food and beverage items, presentation of restaurants, and engaging guestsExperience training and supervising teams is preferredA passion for providing exceptional service and guest experiencesAn eye for cleanliness, organization, and presentationWillingness to learn and a "can do" attitudeAbility to work with grace under pressure and resolve issues effectivelyFlexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidaysEffective communication skills, both written and verbalA collaborative approach to working with colleaguesThe BenefitsFull Time Fixed-Term, minimum 60 hours per fortnightHourly rate is $27.00Live in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park with stunning surroundings and unparalleled views – a short and remarkable commute to work.
