SO/ Auckland is located in the heart of Auckland's CBD with views of the Waitemata Harbour and city, across 16 floors and 130 design-led rooms.We are currently looking for a Permanent Full-Time Food and Beverage Supervisor (40 hours) who is hands-on and has a keen eye for detail to help us deliver the best Guest Experience!
We welcome you to join us in the front row at SO/ Auckland and become a part of Accor's lifestyle brand collective Ennismore!Job DescriptionAssisting in the smooth operation of the Food & Beverage departmentCreating a seamless dining experience for our guests, making everyone feel welcome and valuedConstant communication with all departmentsEnsuring all team members are confident and competent in selling menu items, beverage items, and hotel services.Supervise the team on duty to ensure they complete all duties and tasks and to ensure our guests receive the best possible guest experienceSupervising, guiding, and training the team in departmental policy and procedures as well as product knowledgeDevelop a sales approach and passion for driving and generating businessPromote and ensure strong communication of ALL (Accor Live Limitless) and the Ennismore 'Dis-loyalty' memberships as key loyalty benefit programs.QualificationsA New Zealand Masters or Bachelor's degree in a Hospitality Management related field, or 2 years experience in a supervisory roleArticulate verbal communication and passion for building a rapport with our guestsCurrent LCQ certificate, First Aid Certified, and Managers Certificate for Alcohol LicensingBe flexible - you are required to work a variety of shifts, including late nights, public holidays, and weekendsAbility to work well under pressure, think on your feet, and make quick decisionsPrior Food and Beverage experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environmentExceptional grooming and communicationAdditional InformationSO/ BENEFITSStaff meal provided per shiftUniform and dry-cleaning of uniformInternational accommodation and retail discounts across varying Accor Hotels propertiesFamily & Friends Hotel DiscountsOngoing reward and recognition incentives and awards.Opportunities for further development and worldwide career progressionAnnual reward of a free night's accommodation at the hotel (did we say there is breakfast and dinner included?
