We welcome you to join us in the front row at SO/ Auckland and become a part of Accor's lifestyle brand collective Ennismore!Job DescriptionBe accountable on a shift basis for the outlet's operations through effective people management.Work hands-on as part of a team to deliver efficient 5-star service.Perform basic day-to-day food and beverage service tasks.Open and close the restaurant or outlet as required.Pack in and out for events as needed.Take customer orders and maximize sales opportunities through product knowledge and suggestive selling.Ensure the correct use of the POS (Point of Sale) system.Promptly deliver orders from the kitchen and bar areas.Check ordered meals upon collection from the kitchen and deliver them promptly to guests, maintaining their temperature and appearance.
Ensure items are announced when served at the table.Provide the highest standard of service to guests.Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy, following procedure manuals.Take responsibility for your designated section and station.Maintain clean and organized side stations daily.Maintain working knowledge of beverages offered, including preparation and service methods.Adhere to hygienic food service techniques during service.QualificationsPrevious experience in Barista and Café style service.Knowledge of gastronomy and beverages.Use of Micros is a bonus.Strong presentation and organization skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be proactive.Positive bubbly personality.Previous experience within a high-paced/luxury environment is highly advantageous but not required.You understand the nature of the business and can work on a rotating roster basis, including weekends and public holidays.Additional InformationSO/ BENEFITSStaff meal provided per shift.Uniform and dry-cleaning of uniform.International accommodation and retail discounts across varying Accor Hotels properties.Family & Friends Hotel Discounts.Ongoing reward and recognition incentives and awards.Opportunities for further development and worldwide career progression.Annual reward of a free night's accommodation at the hotel (did we say there is breakfast and dinner included?
