About The Role - Te mahi
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and have vast experience in managing restaurants. To be successful in this role you must have the maturity to manage a shift and lead a team by example.
This full-time permanent role (minimum 40 hours per week) is based at Sudima Kaikoura and the rate will be $70,000 - $75,000 per year.

Responsibilities | Nga haepapa
Management and leadership of the hotel food & beverage service outlets – including the restaurant, bar, conference, room service and bar on a day-to-day basis.
Meet and exceed guest expectations, enabling the Food & Beverage operation of the hotel to be recognised as a purveyor of consistent, quality and value for money cuisine.
Ensure food and beverage standards, preparation, presentation, and production techniques are established and monitored to meet Brand Standard guidelines.
Help plan, cost, develop and implement new and innovative ways to identify guest engagement with the Food & Beverage concepts.
Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises' liquor licence/s.
Prepare and cost beverage menus.
Adhere to Purchasing guidelines, utilising preferred suppliers, ensuring purchases meet quality, cost-effective, sustainability and efficiency requirements.
Must hold valid GM License and LCQ.
Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail.
Have the desire to learn and grow your hospitality career.
Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required. (which may include early morning starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays).
NZQF Level 1 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1) or at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
