Carrington Resort and Winery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead the operation of our two restaurants as well as our Vue Bar.
Reporting to General Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurants and bar, including staffing, training, budgeting, and ensuring excellent customer service.
As our Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our multiple dining outlets, including our fine-dining restaurant, casual dining at the winery, and the Vue Bar.
You will be tasked with ensuring exceptional service is consistently delivered to our guests, whilst also maintaining profitability and inventory control.
Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning and execution, ensuring our guests receive an unforgettable culinary experience.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, wine, and the ability to effectively communicate with both staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of the two restaurants and Vue Bar.
Train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure exceptional customer service and a high standard of quality.
Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for the restaurants and bar.
Develop and manage budgets for the restaurants and bar, including cost control measures and inventory management.
Develop and execute marketing plans and promotional activities to drive business.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure an efficient and profitable food and beverage operation.
Qualifications: Minimum of five years of experience in food and beverage management.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and bar service.
Experience managing budgets, creating schedules, and supervising staff.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proven experience in inventory control, financial management, and staff supervision.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and passion for food, wine, and the hospitality industry.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Hiring, training, and supervising our F&B team.
Creating and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Overseeing event planning and execution.
