We are seeking talented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team in the new waterfront restaurant Hiku. We are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and who have experience in restaurants or customer facing roles. Full training will be provided.
This is a casual job with an hourly pay rate of $26.

Fresh, Modern & Local, Hiku offers delicious, relaxed New Zealand fare inspired by the surrounds and heroes local with seafood, farmed produce, wine and beer sourced from Kaikoura and its surrounds.
Sudima Kaikoura is a new 4.5-star hotel on the esplanade of Kaikoura's waterfront, conveniently located at the end of the town center. The hotel has spectacular 360 views of the seaward Kaikoura mountain range, waterfront and peninsula and proudly presents large scale, local Maori artwork throughout the hotel, with a high-quality fit-out, 120 well-appointed rooms, restaurant, bar, conference facilities and infinity pool.
Responsibilities | Nga haepapa
Provide a warm engaging welcome to all guests
Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
Preparation of the restaurant for service
Seating guests, taking orders and delivering exceptional service at all times
Taking external and internal phone inquiries and delivery of room service
Settling guest accounts
Ensuring a positive resolution and follow up with any guest complaint
About you | Ko koe tenei
Exceptional grooming and hygiene standards
Ability to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail
Have a desire to learn and grow your hospitality career
Experience in restaurant & bar service or customer facing role would be advantageous
Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required (which may include early morning starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays)
