We have an exciting opportunity for a Floor Dispatcher to join our Christchurch Operations.
As the Floor Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing fleet resources effectively and planning customer freight for deliveries.
Working with the transport and operational staff, you will facilitate utilisation, planning, allocation, staging, and route planning for pick-up and delivery planning to meet and exceed the customers' and company's expectations.

The purpose of the Floor Dispatcher is to manage fleet resources effectively to plan customer freight for deliveries to meet DIFOT (Delivered in-full, on time) expectations.
Working with the transport and operational staff, you will:
Manage Customer LCL volume, predominantly Customer Deliveries. Ensure effective use of TGE systems to assist with planning, allocation, and staging of delivery volume in advance of fleet arrival for the next cycle of deliveries. Work closely with the Transport and Operations team and communicate effectively with team members to ensure both internal and external customer expectations are met. Work closely with the office dispatcher to ensure fleet capabilities are optimised to meet all daily collection and delivery requirements. Work closely with AM/PM Operations Team Leaders to ensure timely arrival of freight into the Metro Bays. Be required to operate forklifts during loading and unloading trucks to assist with deliveries. Minimum Requirements: 2 - 4 years' experience in a relevant field. Knowledge of Transport, Freight, Logistics industry. Hold your Full NZ Driver's License. Hold a current F and OSH endorsed forklift license. Understanding of data analysis and interpretation. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. E-Road and On-Time knowledge advantageous.
