We have an exciting opportunity for a Floor Dispatcher to join our branch in Dunedin. As the Floor Dispatcher, you will manage day-to-day processing of freight to ensure that we deliver high-quality freight forwarding solutions to our customers. You will be customer-focused, ensuring that all customer requirements are met and revenue targets are achieved.
Your strengths will lie within your planning and delivery skills. You will be organised, provide attention to detail, be flexible, and have the ability to change priorities at short notice. Your responsibilities include:
Resolving any internal & external customer issues and increasing satisfaction levels.Engaging in effective communication with customers.Managing fleet, drivers, and dispatching.Efficiently using and allocating fleet.Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements.Administration, monitoring, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.Assisting with continuous improvement of KPI's.Overseeing compliance & fleet presentation requirements.Assisting the wider Auckland Transport team when called upon.Minimum qualifications include:
Excellent communication and organisational skills.Knowledge of the Transport/Logistics industry.Minimum of 2 years' experience in Freight operations.Forklift license including OSH – Preferred but not essential.Computer and Microsoft Office Skills (Intermediate).Clean Class 1 NZ Driver's License.Demonstrable geographical knowledge, specifically the South Island.Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Sustainability, and the Environment are part of our DNA, so come support us on our journey.
