Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleWe are looking to appoint a Floating Team Leader to join our existing team.You will be involved with ongoing service development that will allow you to use your expertise and skills. You will be an integral part of the team, providing support and leadership in houses across the service as needed, as well as pro-active day-to-day support to enable the people you support to live safely and be actively involved in their community.While your roster will usually be 7.00 AM to 3.30 PM weekdays, we work with flexibility over 7 days including evening and weekend work. Our goal is to embed Enabling Good Lives in our daily practices.About YouYou will have:Inspiring leadership skills and a strong commitment to the principles of person-centred support.A minimum NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4), or an equivalent health or disability related qualification as assessed by the Ministry of Health.Sound knowledge of person-centred support as well as good time management skills.Experience working in the field of disability or youth social services would be advantageous.This role is classified by Immigration as ANZSCO423111 and applicants for this position must be eligible to work in New Zealand.Live Life Disability SupportMission: Supporting people to live the best possible lifeDo you like to connect with people?Do you see the beauty and strength in diversity and cultural differences?Can you communicate in a way that values and acknowledges the people we support, family, whanau, and your team?Do you like a challenge as you do not like the mundane?Live Life Disability Support provides support to over 250 people, who have disabilities, to achieve their personal aspirations and choices in a variety of residential and respite settings across the Nelson/Tasman and Marlborough regions.
