We are seeking skilled nurses with 5+ years of experience to join our esteemed flight team. As a Flight Nurse, you will play a critical role within our hospital network, delivering comprehensive pre-hospital, emergency, critical, and general nursing care to a diverse range of patients. Your primary responsibility will be to transport patients requiring acute or elective care that cannot be provided locally to tertiary hospitals. Additionally, you will retrieve patients from smaller rural facilities, ensuring their safe transfer to Hastings Hospital for further investigation and treatment. About our team: Our team is composed of highly experienced Registered Nurses with extensive backgrounds in ICU and ED, each bringing years of clinical expertise and flight hours to the table. We are a small, close-knit group that values teamwork and collaboration. Our seasoned Flight Nurses are eager to share their knowledge and support new team members, helping them gain the confidence and skills needed to manage patient transfers independently. Given our team's size, being a strong team player is essential. Skills and experience: We are looking for candidates who not only have the necessary clinical experience but also a passion for flight nursing and a willingness to think creatively in challenging situations. The ideal candidate will: Have a strong interest and/or experience in both fixed-wing and helicopter flights. Possess the ability to think critically and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
