Reporting to the Printing Supervisor, you will be working alongside a team of qualified printers and print assistants at our large manufacturing site based in Tawa. We are looking for an experienced Flexographic Printer to join our printing team to produce high quality goods. You will be operating the press to within standard and recognized operating parameters. You will be responsible for running print jobs from end-to-end, directing the Press Assistants working alongside you and signing off print jobs; therefore, you must be experienced in this field; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, and the hours rotate on a weekly basis. The hours are 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM and 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM; however, this is subject to change to also include a night shift. We are looking for people who are keen to learn and progress within the company. Full training will be provided.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Flexographic Printer role is preferableExperience operating the PressDemonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills, as well as a strong mechanical competencyReliable transport to get yourself to and from workPossess a keen and positive attitude and can easily adapt and learn new systemsAble to pass a pre-employment drug test and have no criminal convictionsThorough with good attention to detailMust be able to work in a team and work alongside othersPossess good planning and organisational skillsExperience in a leadership role is preferableAbout the Company
