About the Role
This is a key appointment within our business where you will be accountable for maintaining current business as well as identifying and developing new business across retread and industrial sales within the Lower South Island region. Ideally you will be based in Dunedin, and your responsibilities will include:
Managing and achieving the commercial sales budget for the region, including forecasting analysis
Preparation of monthly reports - product performance, competitor activity, sales activity, etc.
Planning, developing and maintaining regular call cycles for existing and prospective customers
Providing technical information and advice as required to customers
Assisting with further marketing of Commercials Stores, Dealerships as well as the direction of promotional events within the Agricultural sector
Maintain target account lists for potential customers
Utilising Salesforce, maintain, manage and report all sales activities
To be successful you will need:
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience within a commercial environment, with strong sales management expertise
Good understanding of the NZ tyre or automotive industry, with good technical competence
The ability to confidently build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business stakeholders.
Strong financial acumen, with exposure to P&L reports
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good computer literacy, with previous SAP and Salesforce CRM experience preferred
The ability to travel as and when required
