Join the team and be a part of our transformation to a zero emissions future as we launch a portfolio of all-Electric new vehicles, to meet the needs of Australian customers today and into the future.About this opportunityReporting to the Chief Operations Officer, NZ and working closely with the Area Sales Manager, this role exists to develop sales volume through dealership and fleet channels along with providing support to the New Zealand Dealer Network.Your role is to nurture relationships across multiple stakeholders that supports the growth of the MG brand with a corresponding increase in our overall sales volumes whilst maintaining the required level of profitability for MG NZ and the dealer network.Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of business plans and strategies aimed at expanding sales volume in existing and new markets.Develop the annual NZ sales plan in conjunction with AUS that is based on product strengths, new model launches, industry trends and brand position.Achieve business plan goals and objectives on assigned customer fleet accounts whilst prospecting for new conquest accounts.Serve as primary representative of MG New Zealand to business customers responding promptly to requests for assistance and information.Engage Dealership Staff, Retail Managers, and internal resources to ensure appropriate cultivation, closure, and follow-up of all transactions.Take appropriate actions to maintain and grow network dealer relationship and the number of active accounts.Manage a fleet of evaluation vehicles to be used with prospective fleet clients and report on the utilization and orders generated on a monthly basis.Manage the vehicle order and delivery process with high attention to detail.Ability to manage all stakeholders including Dealership management and staff, Fleet Management Companies, Corporate customers, and end users.A comprehensive customer visitation plan is required across all sectors.About you3-5 years previous experience in automotive sector preferred at OEM, Distributor, Dealership.Proven track record of growing sales volume and profitability across all customer types in the Fleet sector.Proven negotiation skills, persuasive ability & excellent communication skills.Demonstrated automotive history of developing strategies that supports the growth of a brand based on product strengths, new model launches, industry trends and brand position.Strong closing skills; able to bring sales to a close in a timely manner.Proven automotive sales experience in a similar role supporting a business to gain volume and market share.Why work for usMG New Zealand is growing, with growth comes opportunity.
