The Role
Based at our New Plymouth branch, the Fleet Manager is responsible for the management and performance of both the New Zealand Couriers and Post Haste Couriers courier fleet. This role is also critical in the delivery of our premium services to customers, working with the broader management team to ensure service standards are met and exceeded, through the upholding of service level goals and financial targets. Providing hands-on assistance where needed and getting involved with service analysis and reporting, you'll be at the hub of our team, strengthening the link between our drivers, Operations teams and customers.
This is a fulltime role, working Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Key responsibilities include
Recruiting and maintaining a full fleet of contractor drivers Training drivers towards service excellence Be familiar with current Health and Safety, and Transport legislative requirements, and ensure compliance within the branch.
