We are looking for a passionate individual with a Class 5 Driver's License, mechanical proficiency and strong customer service orientation for our client to join their team as a Despatcher and play a vital role in delivering their vision of becoming the preferred contracts carrier of linehaul and distribution freight solutions in the North Island.

$75,000.00 - $80,000.00
Monday - Friday with a half-day every second Saturday
07:00 AM to 05:30 PM

What you need:
Significant competency, driving experience with a class 5 driver's license , and understanding of HPMV to operate a variety of trucks.
Mechanical proficiency to ensure equipment remains fully operational at all times, minimizing breakdowns.
Strong customer service orientation to build positive relationships with customers and drive revenue growth.
Proactive and self-starting attitude to identify opportunities for improvement or innovation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to foster innovation and achieve collective goals.
Key Duties:
Provide effective local and linehaul cartage and freight movement services to meet customer demands.
Maintain all mechanical equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure legislative compliance to demonstrate commitment to ethical and lawful business practices.
Support workplace health & safety initiatives to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
Foster positive relationships with team members and customers to enhance the organization's reputation.
Continuously seek improvement in service quality and efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction.
