Details of the offer

The role of Fleet Coordinator plays a critical role to any large business. The Fleet Coordinator ensures information for all vehicles is reviewed and updated and the vehicle can be located at any time. Vehicle inspections and annual audits are all part of the role along with managing the servicing of vehicles and investigating driver complaints and infringements.
There is also a hands-on element to the role; ensuring access cards, fuel cards and keys are issued correctly and at a higher level a requirement to proactively follow-up and provide accurate data; asset planners will use to make their business decisions.
Take this opportunity to do the basics well and/or grow the role and make the job your own.
A well established and high performing Facilities Operations team are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to provide effective and efficient administrative management of the corporate vehicle fleet and plant. There are 300 motor vehicles (not including trucks, trailers and motorbikes) that need organising; from carrying out vehicle inspections, ensuring their Warrant of Fitness and Registrations are uptodate, managing vehicle and plant servicing to providing quality data the Asset Team can base their business decisions on.
This role requires someone really comfortable working in a dynamic administration role where good organisation skills, the ability to work with little supervision and where confident communication skills means you are open to actively listening to the point of view of others to enable you to make your own decisions.
You don't necessarily need prior fleet coordination experience but you will need to showcase a genuine desire to listen to others and provide excellent customer service, the ability to problem solve - sometimes on the spot, strong administration and technical skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a vehicle fleet that will move towards 'reducing carbon emissions', where your ease of operational management will ensure all vehicles are 100% fully compliant, the vehicles are where they need to be and the wider team can get on and do what they need to do - providing services and facilities for our communities and environment. A rewarding career awaits.
