Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Coordinator to join our head office in Auckland. The main purpose of this role is to effectively coordinate & maintain fleet & drivers required to support the efficient movement of inbound and outbound freight.
The working hours of this role are 9.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. We are recruiting now for a January 2025 start date.

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of the company and owner driver fleet of vehicles. The primary objective will be to provide support to our transport team with resourcing and compliance of both company and owner driver fleet across the Auckland region.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating 50+ owner drivers and 80+ assets daily.
Scheduling, deploying, and tracking the company fleet and owner drivers.
Processing fuel card creation, invoice auditing, and inductions.
Ensuring the safe use of vehicles and monitoring the compliance of vehicles.
Onboarding and offboarding of employees and owner drivers.
Coordinating requirements such as third party/HIAB requests.
Managing relationships with suppliers, carriers, and vendors.
Tracking Key Performance Indicators related to fleet operations.
We are looking for a superstar who can develop effective working relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Additionally, you will have:
Experience within the transport/freight/logistics industry.
Prior Fleet coordination/Dispatching experience preferable.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong multitasking abilities, with a positive, solutions-driven approach.
Demonstrated knowledge and a commitment to health & safety.
A full clean New Zealand Drivers licence.
