Fixed Term - Sous Chef

We are looking for a Sous Chef for the Summer to join our Amazing crew at 25 Degrees - Lake Tekapo.
Who are we? 25 Degrees, Burger, Wine and Liquor Bar. A sophisticated twist on the classic American burger bar, we have restaurants in LA, Bangkok, Singapore, and Hong Kong. We have made our newest home right here on the shores of Lake Tekapo.
25 Degrees is not your average burger joint; we've got award-winning burgers that are off the hook, anything but basic and always hit the spot. Super-creamy shakes that'll have you swooning, wings that wow with flavour, and cool crisp craft beers on tap.
What do we want? 25 Degrees is on the hunt for a full-time Chef working 40 hours per week on a rostered shift between 10 am and 11 pm for 6 Months starting asap!
Ideally, you will have:
Kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment of at least 5 years
Chef experience of at least 2 years
The ability to multi-task and keep a cool head
The highest of food safety standards
Confidence to run the kitchen and take ownership
A great work ethos and awesome attitude
Flexibility with your hours as we run a 7-day operation
