We are looking for a self-starter who able to plan, prepare, promote, deliver and evaluate Rotorua Museum educationservices including delivery of Enhancing Local Curriculum (ELC) programmes forthe Ministry of Education contract and other educational services for theMuseum and wider RLC as required.
This role requires:
* Facilitating and delivering curriculum-based learning at the museum, libraryand other venues through the presentation of programmes, teachinggroups, and management of visiting groups
* Contributing to the planning, development and implementation ofcurriculum-linked programmes and tailored lessons utilising the uniquemuseum resources available
* Contributing to the planning, development and implementation ofeducational resources for use by visiting school and learning groups
* Contributing to the planning of promotional material for Museum educationservices and distributing to schools and other learning organisations
* Liaising with teachers in preparation for class visits
* Compliance with all RLC policies and procedures, as well any specific policies and procedures for Rotorua Museum and its education services
This role is 20 hours per week, fixed term.
