We are seeking 6x experienced Pipefitter / Welder to join our team for the installation of a new plant room facility. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of piping systems, along with ensuring the proper installation of all related components in the plant room.DUTIESPipefitting:Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and install piping systems for the new plant room facility.Measure, cut, and thread pipes to specified dimensions, using hand tools and power tools.Assemble and install piping systems, including valves, fittings, and supports.Ensure proper alignment, level, and slope of pipes for optimal system performance.Welding:Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick) on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials to fabricate and assemble pipe systems and components.Maintain high-quality welding standards, ensuring all welds are clean, secure, and meet code requirements.Inspect welded joints for strength, durability, and compliance with engineering specifications.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Proven experience as a Pipefitter / WelderAbility to interpret drawings and blueprintsAbility to identify the correct valve types and other ancillary itemsAbility to identify pipework spools from spool list and installExperience using drilling equipment, general pipework tools, operating lifting gear such as chain blocksExperience prepping pipework for weldingExperience installing pipework, assembling pipe spools, bolting flanges, measuring and fitting pipeworkTICKETS / QUALS:Current EWP ticket - essentialCurrent Sitesafe - preferred but not essentialCan provide a recent reference (within past 1-5 years) - essentialWill pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test - essentialMonday 14th October start available for successful candidates.If this sounds like you, hit APPLY and submit any supporting documents such as a CV / Tickets and Qualifications for us to review.
