This position is a permanent, full-time role within the Auckland region. Remuneration is between $32-$35 per hour. About Marine Propulsion: Marine Propulsion specialises in a wide range of services from drive lines and mechanical systems. Marine propulsion prides itself on its customer service providing efficient and innovative services. Required skills and experience Service and maintain engineering machinery, including driveline, thrusters, rudders, and other systems, to the highest standards. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during dry dock and other maintenance activities. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills. Proven experience as a Fitter and Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role (at least 2 years of relevant work experience is required). Strong understanding of marine engineering systems and machinery. Self-motivated, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new tasks. Must have excellent communication skills, and be able to work both unsupervised as well as in a team. Must have good time management and organisation skills. Committed to delivering quality results and minimising risks. A desire to learn new skills and technologies and share knowledge with the rest of the team. Why Join Us?
