Fitness Team Leader

As well as having an inspiring and high-energy personality to motivate our gym-goers, you will also have no problem taking on responsibilities to ensure our gym is running smoothly for both our staff and our community.Our Fitness Team Leader will be able to delve into various tasks that include:Maintaining a high public profile of the facility and promoting it in a creative and attractive manner to establish and maintain a positive public image.Increasing and retaining memberships, as well as creating and promoting challenges and programmes.Leading the CBay Fitness team ensuring all performance discussions are being held.Working alongside the Recreation Facilities Manager to ensure all daily work activities are running smoothly and that our overall centre objectives are being met.Maintaining specific financial aspects of CBay Fitness as delegated by the RFM including being accountable for the revenue and expenditure of the fitness facility.Providing training or training opportunities for all staff.You will hold a First Aid Certificate and a recognised tertiary qualification in sport, leisure, or fitness with knowledge of health, fitness, and wellbeing.
You will have a minimum of two years' experience in the fitness leisure and sports industry or similar.Come and join our team of like-minded fitness gurus, working within a fun, supportive, and dynamic fitness centre!This is a permanent role and offers 40 hours per week.
Rostered shifts and occasional weekend/on-call arrangements will apply to this role.
The annual salary for this role is $76,382 - $89,861 per annum.
