About the Role We are looking for a Team Leader at our Te Ngaengae Pool + Fitness Suite to manage gym operations to ensure our customers enjoy a clean, enjoyable, and safe environment.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you'll provide operational and administrative support, leading a team of fitness instructors. You'll also be preparing rosters and overseeing staff wages.
The key focuses of the person coming into this role are effective staff management, facility management, service delivery, and performance reporting.
About You You will be a strong people leader who brings experience in the fitness industry. Your practical gym floor experience, REPS Registration, and current first aid certificate will mean you're able to deliver on our goal to provide exceptional recreational facilities and services that enhance people's lives.
Your passion for physical fitness activity will be infectious, and you'll thrive on assisting and motivating our members, inducting new members, and sharing new health and fitness trends. You'll appreciate the need to ensure staff are trained and fully supported to undertake their roles.
You'll also have a natural ability to build positive relationships with your colleagues and encourage collaboration across the wider fitness and aquatics team to ensure all our customers have a great experience at our facility.
