Job Description He aha te turanga - About the role:
As a Hato Hone St John First Aid Tutor, you will deliver First Aid courses to our key business customers and to the general public.
Ideally, you will have adult education or workshop facilitation experience. You will be paid to gain qualifications in this field if you don't already have them. We are looking for confident, motivated First Aid Tutors with a passion for the delivery of high-quality training, in a way that engages attendees and delivers great results for our customers.
We deliver courses 7 days a week, so it is important that you can be flexible in your availability. Some weekend work is necessary, and this allows us to roster days off during the week. Days can be long, so you will need to be available outside of a usual 9-5 day.
Your hard work will be rewarded by a great starting rate of $61,710 pro-rated (with an increase once signed off to teach independently), a uniform, professional development, great work stories, and the deep satisfaction that comes from making a life-changing difference to individuals in your community.
This is a permanent part-time role, 20 hours a week.

Awesome organisational and planning skills.
Enthusiasm to complete relevant adult education qualifications.
Experience within the adult education/training field.
