We are needing a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Hamilton team!
We are the leading fire protection specialists in New Zealand and we have been protecting people and property here for over 130 years and enjoy a reputation as providing the most capable and reliable safety products and services nationwide.
What we offer: Fulltime Permanent employment; 40 hours per weekCompany vehicle, smart phone, laptop, and uniformOngoing training and opportunities for professional development and upskillingWhat you will do: Installing, commissioning, servicing and testing fire sprinkler, hose reel, special hazards and hydrant systemsRepresenting Wormald New Zealand Limited on site in a professional and courteous mannerEnsuring that the system is installed as in accordance with the intent of the drawings supplied and directions givenHow you will do it: Participate in training offered by the Company and outside sources to keep abreast and ahead of developments in the industry and to improve your own skillsDemonstration of enthusiasm towards products and services both used and provided by the companyPositive attitudes, loyalty, and enthusiasm towards the Company objectivesWhat we look for? Must have relevant previous experience in the industry in installing fixed fire protection systemsExperience from the plumbing industryAbility to work from drawingsCompetent in the fitting of pipes, valves, pumps and accessories in a fire fighting systemNew Zealand residency/citizenship or a valid New Zealand work visaCandidates overseas with good skillset and experience, and with knowledge of NZ Fire Systems standard are welcome to applyPlease note pre-employment checks – including reference checks, medical, criminal record check, and drug & alcohol testing – will form part of the eligibility process.
