What we offer: Fulltime Permanent employmentCompany vehicle, smart phone, laptop, and uniformOngoing training and opportunities for professional development and upskillingWhat you will do: Sell and service Fire Equipment, providing training and related products to existing and prospective customers including commercial, industrial, governmental and other organisationsMaintain and develop existing customer relationships and ensure all work carried out meets agreed quality standardsAttain budgeted sales and service targets, ensuring a focus on selling or promoting training internally and externally at agreed price structureHow you will do it: Test and service all Fire Equipment to NZS 4503: 2005 and related standards, including surveying sites to ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard before being certifiedMinimise site hazards and risks by implementing correct training procedures, including recommending and maintaining safety equipment to relevant NZ standards and Health & Safety requirementsAssess site hazards, check current site procedures, and make recommendations in line with NZ Standards and Health and Safety requirementsLiaise with organisations and fire service on trial evacuationsExamine and assess protective equipment, advising on correct type and manner of useEnsure all customer inquiries and orders are dealt with and completed in a timely mannerWhat we look for: Proven sales and servicing experience with a mechanical backgroundExperience in the Fire Protection industry is an advantageExperience as a Fire/Emergency Trainer is an advantageAbility to offer correct advice in line with the relevant standardPlease note pre-employment checks – including reference checks, medical, criminal record check, and drug & alcohol testing – will form part of the eligibility process.
