Fire Alarm Technician

Tansley Electrical Ltd has operated for over 60 years and during this time has completed many successful Fire Alarm installation contracts throughout the South Island.
The successful candidate will be joining a well-respected and progressive company that prides itself on its inclusive culture, strong Health and Safety focus, and provides support to get the job done.
Based in Queenstown, we are looking to employ a Fire Alarm Technician to carry out Fire Alarm System installations and servicing. The role includes pre-wiring, fit off, programming, commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems, as well as fault finding and repairs.
The ideal candidate will have qualifications in the National Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, but consideration will be given to experienced Fire Alarm Installers willing to work towards the National Certificate.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Good work ethic and a desire to be part of a successful team
Focus on safety
National Certificate in Fire Alarm Systems or relevant experience in the Fire Alarm industry
NZ Residency or a NZ work visa
