Build your best future with the Johnson Controls teamWe are needing a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our Auckland team!At Wormald, we have a strong, stable and supportive team culture, and we're passionate about what we do – Fire Protection!We are the leading fire protection specialists in New Zealand, we have been protecting people and property here for over 130 years and enjoy a reputation as providing the most capable and reliable safety products and services nationwide.What we offer:Fulltime Permanent employment; 40 hours per weekYou will be supplied with a company vehicle, smart phone, laptop and uniformYou will get ongoing training and opportunities for professional development and upskilling including NZQA qualificationsYou will be on a market leading remuneration package based on your skills and experienceWhat you will do:Installation, fault finding and repair of existing and new systems to the required standards and to the satisfaction of the customerAccurate and punctual timekeeping of labour and materials expended.Maintain documentation for both management and clients relevant to each job on a daily basisLiaise with clients, regularly communicating the condition of the system/s, including gaining approval for the undertaking of any repairs requiredPursue all opportunities to obtain additional business and expand our client baseHow you will do it:Participate in training offered by the Company and outside sources to keep abreast and ahead of developments in the industry and to improve your own skillsDemonstration of enthusiasm towards products and services both used and provided by the companyPositive attitudes, loyalty and enthusiasm towards the Company objectivesWhat we look for?Must have previous experience within the fire alarm or electrical industry as you will be responsible for all aspects relating to the timely completion of various Fire Alarm related jobsNew Zealand residency/citizenship or a valid New Zealand work visaProficient computer skillsFull NZ drivers licenceExcellent communication skills with a can do attitudePlease note pre-employment checks – including reference checks, medical, criminal record check, and drug & alcohol testing – will form part of the eligibility process.
