This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner with brand stakeholders and deliver strategic financial insights that drive brand performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning quarterly and annual planning cycles, ensuring plans are achievable, actionable, and consolidated into broader business objectives. With a focus on profitability management, the Financial Planning Analyst will prepare and review pricing models, identify poor performing stores, and ensure business proposals are well-understood and articulated. This role requires a highly developed stakeholder engagement skill set, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong curiosity that drives action.
What you'll do: As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand performance through the delivery of strategic financial insights. You will collaborate closely with business units and stakeholders, identifying key risks and opportunities. Your responsibility extends to owning the planning and forecasting cycles for assigned brands, ensuring plans are understood, actionable, and consolidated into broader business objectives. A significant part of your role involves profitability management where you will prepare and review various aspects of profitability performance. You will also be tasked with identifying poorly performing stores and recommending actions for improvement. Ensuring data governance and participating in finance internal control processes form an integral part of your duties. Lastly, you will contribute towards creating a safe working environment by taking care of your health and safety.

You possess an accounting or business qualification from a tertiary institution and are either a Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant or have shown progress toward completing the CA requirement or equivalent Commercial Qualification. Your experience in a commercial finance role has honed your commercial judgement and reasoning. You are adept at working with large sets of data, breaking them down into meaningful, insightful outputs. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders and navigate competing priorities. Your ability to work under pressure is commendable, always focusing on what's important and aligning with business requirements. Lastly, your curiosity drives you from belief to knowledge to insight to action.
