Focus on achieving our growth and profitability objectives.Your Responsibilities:This position will operate in a semi-autonomous manner to achieve desired results for NZ in specific lines of business including; Professional Indemnity, Technology, Cyber & Medical Malpractice.Review, analyse, accept or reject new business and allocated renewal risks within specialised lines of business.Assist with maintenance of the Financial Lines portfolio including collation of necessary business reports.Visit producers, clients and promote Chubb coverages, products and services.Maintain timely liaison with producers to obtain necessary underwriting information, promote satisfactory service relationship and encourage the submission of targeted business.Provide technical and underwriting support to NZ PI, Technology and Cyber Underwriting Manager as required.Carry out administrative tasks including but not limited to; policy wording and certificate of insurance checks, underwriting system updates, investigation of billing queries, and any other similar duties as may be required.Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.Assist with technical review of wordings and coverages, products and services.Coordinate accounts on a whole of account basis with other product lines as appropriate.Recommend changes to standard operating procedures as necessary.Produce reports and projects on an ad hoc basis for the NZ PI, Technology and Cyber Underwriting Manager.Minimum Requirements:Underwriting and marketing proficiency specifically in Professional Indemnity, Technology and Cyber gained through two or more years of applicable experience in at least two of the following areas: underwriting/marketing, sales/marketing, product management, and financial analysis.Superior communications and interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing with producers, customers and all levels of the organisation.Organisational capabilities to work independently and utilise appropriate automated tools with minimal administrative support.Experience in PC software, Email, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and new software as it applies to the position.Ability to implement general business procedures and practices as evidenced by completion of a business related tertiary curriculum, management training programs, or relevant business experience.Experience in achieving profit objectives and increasing the long-term value of the business.
