As a Senior Finance leader for FPT, you will contribute significantly to the business by executing the financial strategy of FPT. You will lead the FPT NZ Finance & Operations Team including managing 3 direct reports.Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, your key responsibilities will be:Identify areas of value creation and drive to monetise and maximise financial opportunities.Drive financial performance through deliberate, executable plans.Support Line of Business owners and Heads Of Functional Areas owners.Contribute to & constructively challenge the commercialisation of Line of Business strategy and product roadmap.Drive the financial planning cycle and its interface into the 3-year strategic planning process, the annual operating plan / budgets and the quarterly planning and forecasting processes.Oversee management accounting services to FPT, primarily producing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and assisting FPT stakeholders with their planning processes.Monitor business results against budget and targets. Take action and convey findings to the business, providing financial advice on future scenarios.Ensure group accounting policies and procedures are adhered to.Timely and accurate reporting of all financial information in accordance with Global requirements, including monthly, half yearly and year end reporting packs.Own & develop FPT global risk register/profile & mitigation. Establish & routinely monitor the Risk matrix for FPT business & help drive mitigation activities.LeadershipResponsive to Vertical Line of Business Supporting Platform Structure.Adaptive as business grows and changes.Functioning efficiently with right systems, process and tools in place.Leveraging and maximising FPA and Haier support.Develop team capabilities to focus on the highest value work and financial performance.Adopt and role model high performing team behaviours and practices.Lift financial capability across FPT team.Your experience will include:Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or similar.CA qualified desired but not essential.10+ years in financial and accounting in a corporate environment.We offer a flexible working environment – with a combination of time collaborating in the office and focused work from home.
