Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)

About the role
This is a part-time fixed term position (initially this will be 16 hours per week, increasing following a review) working for a non-profit organisation in New Zealand. The role requires an experienced financial administrator with strong knowledge of Xero financial software and New Zealand accrual accounting procedures. In addition to financial administration tasks, the role also involves service administration, including schedule coordination, booking arrangements, and tracking service costs.
About you
Understanding of EGL and the rights of disabled people and their families
People with lived experience as a disabled person or as a family/whanau member of a disabled person (preferred)
Proven experience as a financial administrator or in a similar role
Extensive knowledge of Xero financial software
Strong understanding of New Zealand accrual accounting principles
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience in service administration or customer service (preferred)
Someone who is comfortable with being in the office alone / able to work from home.
