We're launching new products and partnerships while staying true to our core; that we're people helping people, powered by a world-class funding system.Incredibly high standards drive us to give our customers the best service in the finance industry, so it's no surprise that our NPS scores and review ratings are amongst the best in the industry worldwide.This role works with a range of financial information to ensure MTF Finance, and its shareholders, are protected from financial loss through the identification and management of credit risk, in alignment with mitigation strategies and credit policy.You'll delve into data analysis and interpretation, providing solutions to minimise bad debt and credit risk. You'll handle facility applications, monitor portfolio metrics, and approve lending, ensuring our credit operations are smooth and secure.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, analyse, and interpret data from various sources, including MTF Finance partners and external sources.Communicate insights to stakeholders using data visualisations and reports.Conduct regular credit watch and credit risk indicator analysis, sharing actionable insights with the team.Recommend initiatives for improving efficiency and fostering continuous improvement within the credit team.Prepare originator agreements, franchise agreements, and security documentation as needed.Review and recommend actions on originator commission holds according to credit covenants and policies.Provide expertise and support for originator lending assessments.Contribute to projects and enhancements that support organisational strategy implementation.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Ideally, some proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar position, which involves working with and interpreting financial information.The ability to build effective relationships and maintain composure under pressure.Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capability – able to make quick and sound decisions about lending approvals.An eye for detail and a head for numbers, with commitment to quality and accuracy.What You'll Get in Return:We're an iconic New Zealand business that is on a mission to be New Zealand's favourite finance company, and we're proudly based in Dunedin.We share our success with our team - our incentive schemes are based on both individual and business outcomes.A dynamic and collaborative culture with a central and modern office space and a team who enjoy working together and who are proud to work at MTF Finance.Plenty of development opportunities, coaching and support.Competitive remuneration package which includes fully funded medical insurance, performance incentives, and flexible leave options and benefits.Why MTF Finance?At MTF Finance, we believe in empowering our employees.
