Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Admin Assistant to support our Finance Manager in maintaining efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and experienced with Xero accounting software. This role requires strong attention to detail, as you will be responsible for managing and inputting financial data accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Admin Email Management : Regularly monitor and respond to the finance department's email inbox, ensuring timely responses and proper email organization.
Invoice Monitoring : Track and process incoming invoices, verifying accuracy and completeness.
Data Entry : Accurately enter financial data into our accounting software and other financial systems.
Reconciliation : Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Support to Finance Manager : Assist the Finance Manager with additional tasks as required, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and filing documents.
Expense Tracking : Track company expenses and ensure correct categorization and documentation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Assistance : Support with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring payments are processed on time and receivables are collected efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or financial support role.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
