Visit their website here: https://jp-nz.com/ The role: Financial Accountant - Full-time permanent position This functional accounting role is part of the finance team, and reporting to the Finance Manager, will undertake a broad range of duties to contribute to the effective operation of the team and wider organisation. Core areas will include: Treasury and foreign exchange activities including loan and cash management Bank and general ledger reconciliations Reporting and analysis Month end processes Journals Financial stock recording Internal audits Banking and payments The successful applicant will need: Valid NZ work permit or residency, and be currently residing in NZ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar Chartered Accountant and/or CPA membership or working towards completion 3+ years' accounting experience Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, statutory legislation, and regulations Proficiency in accounting software Advanced Excel skills Proven experience as a collaborative team player Experience in a production/manufacturing environment would be an advantage In return, you will have the opportunity to work as part of the JP-NZ team, Supreme Award and Global Exporter Award Winners at the 2021 Ara South Canterbury Business Excellence Awards.
