We are seeking an energetic, adaptable and experienced Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. The core of the role is to provide and assist in the analysis of useful financial information to inform business strategy and contribute to decision-making processes that support business growth and long-term success. You will be someone who is well-organised and who loves to work smarter and improve processes while providing high-quality business partnering to the business.
Specifically, the role will include:
Preparation, presentation and analysis of financial statements and information for internal and external stakeholders.Process weekly and monthly invoicing.Prepare reconciliations and reports.Assist with budget and forecasts including cashflow.Support senior management decision-making processes.To successfully deliver these tasks, you will be structured, organised, have strong analytical skills, and an ability to remain customer-focused.
The role will require an individual who has previous experience in a similar role and has exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications and experience key to the role: B Com or other relevant degree, backed by a minimum of 3 years commercial experience, preferably in the recycling, waste or transport industry.Excellent work ethic with strong interpersonal skills.Analytical and innovative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt.Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems and an aptitude for numbers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to develop, coordinate and implement systems, plans and procedures.Ability to effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel at an advanced level.If you are looking for an opportunity to join our dynamic team that collectively works towards a common goal of leaving our environment better, apply now.
