Contract/TempPPCS is a New Zealand-owned and operated business with family values that have guided us since our humble beginnings.The role:While we go through an ERP change, we are looking for an experienced superstar Financial Accountant who can come in and take responsibility for the day-to-day accounting transactions and manage month-end processes. You will relieve the duties of those team members occupied by the ERP change project. You will also support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with day-to-day queries. The role is fixed-term for 9 months, ideally with an immediate start and based in our Mt Wellington Head Office. The role reports to the Senior Financial Accountant.Duties and responsibilities:Timely and accurate preparation of the financial statementsManaging month-end process including prepayments and accrualsAssisting with preparation of annual stat accountsCapex Management and reportingBalance sheet reconciliationsCashflow management and forecastAssist with the budget preparationMaintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and monthly depreciationResponsible for the accuracy of dataTax returns and reporting (PAYE, GST, FBT)Fortnightly Wages ReconciliationMiscellaneous reporting, as and when requiredRequirements:Proven 3+ years' experience as a Financial AccountantGreat communication skills both verbal and written: ability to convey ideas clearlyProven leadership skills: ability to motivate others to perform their bestImpressive analytical skills: ability to work with data efficientlySuperb problem-solving skills: ability to recognize problems promptly and devise effective solutionsAbility to meet deadlinesWhy Work for PPCS?As part of the PPCS team you will be working with other motivated and great people.
