We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or an interest in infrastructure funding and financing.We are a three-partner team, so can offer you the opportunity to act for a wide range of high-profile clients – including banks and funds, developers, corporate borrowers, local authorities and key public sector entities.
We are working on some exciting infrastructure projects, including public private partnerships and in the energy sector and are particularly keen to speak with candidates who have infrastructure experience, including procurement, contracting or financing.The work in our team covers the full spectrum of transactional and advisory issues, including project/construction finance, acquisition finance and infrastructure funding.
For example, our team has advised:on the development and project financing of renewable energy projectsCouncils on the Infrastructure Funding and Financing ActChristchurch Airport and Wellington Airport on their recent bond offersMorrison on sell downs of PPP transactionsclients in the energy sector on significant projects for AotearoaWe are now looking for an experienced lawyer to join our team.
As the successful candidate, you will work directly with some of New Zealand's leading infrastructure and finance lawyers.
You will also have the opportunity to learn from the wider Chapman Tripp team – including M&A, Energy, Construction and Resource Management.
