THE ROLE As the Finance Partnering Lead, reporting to the Finance Chapter Lead, you will lead the Finance Partnering team, delivering high-quality financial support, analysis, and recommendations to drive effective commercial, strategic, and operational decisions within the business. You will also be responsible for the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for your Business Unit, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and various project stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with EGL's short- and long-term financial objectives.
WHAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of month end and year end results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.Project Financial Management: Drive effective management of project finances by maintaining accurate, meaningful project data in the system. Oversee monthly project profit and loss statements, forecast completion, and conduct cost tracking and margin analysis to identify and explain variances. Present monthly results in a clear, actionable format to support commercial outcomes.Revenue Optimization and Financial Controls: Identify opportunities for additional invoicing and cost variance claims, ensuring project purchase orders and invoices are accurate and timely. Collaborate across internal and external teams to advance finance tasks and uphold strong record-keeping and internal controls throughout the Entelar Group.Leadership: Leading a highly effective team, focused on achieving excellence across the function and providing growth opportunities for individuals in the team. Coaching and developing our teams to achieve their full potential. Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, driving employee growth, and enhancing overall team performance.Strategic Partnering: Act as a key partner to the Senior Leadership and Project teams, fostering transparency, focus, and strategic direction in business performance. Ensure that risks and opportunities are understood and that actionable plans for mitigation or maximization are promptly developed.Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, keeping stakeholders informed of changes in projections.Financial Modelling and Analysis: Develop and manage financial models, performing costing, sensitivity, and scenario analyses to shape commercial strategies and generate performance insights.WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED CA/CPA qualified, Construction and Telco industry experience is preferred.Leadership: Proven experience as a leader, leading a planning, and or commercial finance function.Data Modelling: Strong financial and data modelling and reporting skill, cost management and process improvement experience, knowledge of key business drivers, and use of business productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI).Business Partnering: Experience in presenting to business leaders. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels with both financial and non-financial managers.Financial Management: Experience of budgeting and forecasting, financial and project management in a large and complex environment.
