We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with strong technical accounting experience combined with a bigger picture strategic outlook. You will be required to;
Develop, implement and manage the financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.Provide insightful analysis of financial performance and trends to support decision making by Senior Management.Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports and analysis to stakeholders, member organisations, management and regulatory bodies.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards and relevant regulations.Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor departmental budgets.Analyse budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.Manage and optimise cashflow and interest income, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.Implement effective cash management policies and procedures.Manage the banking relationships and bank control.Management of FOREX transactions and relationships with FX service provider.Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.Plan and oversee month end processes.Coordinate external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met.Oversee Accounts payable and receivable activities including credit cards.Oversight of tax compliance and reportingEnsure compliance with internal controls and recommend improvements to procedures and policies as needed.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.Implement audit recommendations and improvements to internal controls.Develop, update and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.Collaborate with Senior Leadership to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.Financial and purchasing system maintenance and controlThis is initially a 6 month fixed term contract, ASAP start.
