For the right qualified finance leader familiar with NZ and Australian accounting and tax principles and practices, this will be an extremely rewarding and commercially interesting career move. This role provides you the flex of WFH, but also will see you making occasional trips across to the private equity parent company in North America, as well as engaging with and supporting a range of operating companies across NZ and Australia. Ideally you would be based in Hawkes Bay, as the NZ Associate calls this region home, and to build a team based here would be ideal but we are open minded as to where you base yourself. There is already a substantive team in the USA, and the crew across ANZ is now in growth mode too. You will be working across the firm's portfolio of ANZ operating companies, as an integral member of the commercial and finance team. In addition to managing day-to-day finance operations, you will be involved in M&A onboarding and will liaise with our U.S. based accounting team on reporting and analysis. Your work as a Financial Manager will include: Supporting M&A onboarding workstreams for the holding company and its portfolio companies Establishing and maintaining consistent accounting processes across all OpCo's in line with U.S. GAAP requirements Holding primary responsibility for month end execution across all OpCo's FP&A support for each OpCo Development of Accounting and Finance Standard Operating Procedures, including recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes Coordination and completion of compliance activities (tax & assurance) Leading and/or assisting organization-wide initiatives (system migrations, improving processes & controls, compliance with accounting guidelines, metrics tracking, etc.) Providing support as required for customer billing processes, monthly and annual price changes, and billing related incentives and commissions Being the go to for day-to-day technical accounting support We are looking for someone with a strong mix of commercial and financial accounting experience, ideally 7+ years post grad. There is a strong desire to bring in base of expertise from public practice, and a Big 4 baseline will be highly regarded. A CA equivalent qual will be essential. It would be great if you have Business Central experience. Candidates who are self-motivated, analytical, and have a detail-oriented problem solving approach will go well here. You must be willing to "roll up your sleeves" in an entrepreneurial and high-growth environment.
