This critical role supports the General Manager and Board of Trustees in ensuring robust financial stewardship and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:Financial Operations: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.Financial Reporting: Prepare bi-monthly financial reports and support strategic decision-making.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.Fixed Asset Register: Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure compliance with tax and legislative requirements.Audit Documentation: Lead the preparation of external audit documentation and oversee month-end reconciliations.About You:Tertiary Qualification: A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.Professional Membership: Membership (or eligibility) with CAANZ, CPA, or equivalent.Financial Expertise: Proven expertise in financial management, budgeting, and compliance.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills to convey financial insights effectively.$60,000 - $80,000 per annumWhy Join Us?You'll be part of a team that values heritage, sustainability, and community.
