This Manufacturing Group has a group turnover of circa 70 million, with a presence globally and sites in 8 countries. Their UK entity has recently had significant group investment and is in the process of increasing production capacity by over 50%, creating a world-class facility to support their vision of becoming the global leader in the field they specialize in. It will also result in the UK entity being the biggest contributor to the group turnover.
This FD position will report into the UK MD, who also has a Global role within the group, but also has a dotted line to the international CFO. They have a strong finance team of 7, that have all been there for over 10 years, but part of your role will be to develop and upskill this team to meet the new demands of the UK entity. You will have full ownership of the accounts for the UK, monthly, yearly, and statutory statements including the annual pension accounts.
This role will be responsible for several ongoing projects including: the move of all financial aspects of the new manufacturing facility; transfer of operational related data; return to positive EBIT; ERP system implementation; and update and extend the product costing system.
The Requirements:
Due to the nature of the role and ongoing projects, it is essential you have a very strong manufacturing background, with experience working closely with if not influencing or responsible for procurement.
Experience leading an ERP system implementation within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to develop and maintain an accurate product costing system.
Currently operating, or recent experience, in a number 1 role with overall responsibility for the monthly and yearly accounts and statutory statements.
Salary for this role is up to £100,000 with additional benefits such as private healthcare, pension, etc.
