Finance and Corporate Manager Superstar Wanted!
Nelson Regional Development Agency (NRDA) is looking for a dynamic Finance and Corporate Manager to lead our finance and corporate operations and help drive economic growth in the beautiful Nelson Tasman region.
If you're a motivated leader with a passion for delivering exceptional results and making a real impact, this is the opportunity for you!
What you'll be doing: Managing financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, tax filing, and payroll services.
Preparing budgets, financial reports, and projections, ensuring compliance and transparency.
Leading and inspiring a small team, contributing to a high-performance culture.
Overseeing corporate operations such as human resources, risk management, insurance, and IT coordination.
Collaborating and ensuring effective relationships with partners and regional stakeholders on funding and joint working arrangements.
Managing commercial contracts.
What you'll bring: A relevant accounting qualification with 5+ years of accounting experience.
Experience in financial reporting, budget management, and human resources.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to foster strong working relationships.
A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience with accounting software Xero and a deep understanding of employment legislation.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
